MEET HEATHER
heather wray has over 20 years’ experience in
the field of leadership development as an executive coach, talent management consultant and sought after group facilitator.
She has worked extensively with high potential and senior leaders from a broad group of client organizations across industries, including: General Mills, Allianz, C.H.Robinson, Donaldson, Capital One, Medtronic, Mortenson, BlueCross BlueShield, Värde Partners, and Polaris. She has also consulted with not-for-profit and human service organizations.
Before starting Wray Consulting Group, Heather spent over a decade as a senior-level coach and consultant with MDA Leadership Consulting, where she acted as a trusted advisor to her clients, helping them select and develop senior talent needed to achieve business results — through comprehensive executive assessment and coaching. At a systems level, she designed, developed and delivered leadership development programs, helping organizations build greater capability to develop talent, innovate and lead change.

She is direct, compassionate, and committed to helping her clients achieve their goals and develop into more authentic, inspired and balanced leaders. She is often sought out for her expertise in design thinking, leadership presence, mindfulness, and navigating complex political and influence challenges.
Heather received her B.S. in Business Administration/Financial Management from California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo and her Masters in Psychology from Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. She is a Certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West and a certified facilitator of the ExperienceChange and ExperienceInnovation business simulations through ExperiencePoint in Toronto. Heather is also a Certified Teacher by the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI) to teach the SIY program, developed at Google, a mindfulness-based program which builds the core emotional intelligence skills needed for peak performance and effective leadership. She lives in Minneapolis with her husband and two active children, ages 8 and 12.
